Hue to Thuan An Beach by car

Along with Lang Co beach and Tam Giang lagoon, Thuan An beach is the masterpiece of Hue that you should include from your list when you have the plan to travel in Hue city from April to September.

Thuan An Beach is located in Phu Vang District, near Thuan An Mouth where the Perfume River runs to Tam Giang Lagoon and then to the sea. It is 15km from Hue city and takes around 25 minutes to get there by car. Thuan An beach is 1km long with the clear soft white sand together with the fresh salty water from the beach. The road leading to Thuan An from the city center is particularly poetic with the quiet countryside village views, interesting pagodas and immense rice paddies. On summer occasions, Thuan An beach attracts a large number of locals and visitors.

The name Thuan An Beach was called in the beginning of the 19th century by the Emperor Minh Mang, the second Emperor of Nguyen Dynasty.

Thuan An Bach is the exciting place for you to swim and enjoy the fresh seafood after visiting pagodas, tombs, temples and other places of Hue city

Now it’s time for you to go to Thuan An beach to escape the hot and crowded air in Hue city.
