Gia Long, wanted to build magnificent architecture in 1803. He was the creator of the Nguyen Dyansty.
This marvel was completed during the reign of Minh Mang in 27 years. It was the most colossal edifice in contemporary history of the country. The consruction took thousands of cubic meters of rock, a huge number of employees, and their excess hardwork to complete.
Northern bank of the Huong River is the home to the imperial structure. In 1993, the attraction was added as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Remaining buildings were actively renovated and maintained after the destruction caused by the Vietnam War.
The initial construction was done entirely of soil and then reconstructed with bricks. It has a canal system that is a main waterway and the complex protection system surrounding the structure.
- Thien Mu Pagoda

This pagoda is also recognized as Linh Mu Pagoda or Heavenly Fairy Lady Pagoda. The historic pagoda is a magnificent structure.
