From Hue to Da Nang is about 100km. If you go directly non-stop by private car, it takes 2.5 hours from Hue to Da Nang. There are two ways to go from Hue to Da Nang: go through Hai Van Tunnel and go by Hai Van Pass. However, the way through Hai Van Pass is more adventure and interesting than the tunnel.

- Lap An Lagoon: It is situated about 50 kilometers from Hue city center, Lap An is one of the 12 typical lagoons in Central Vietnam. It is one of the remarkable natural landscapes in Hue, often described as a place where mountains meet the ocean by travel lovers. Surrounded by Bach Ma Mountain and Lang Co sea, Lap An lagoon impresses visitors by its breathtaking beauty.
- Lang Co Beach: Lang Co Beach is known as one of the most beautiful natural coastal landscapes in Vietnam. It is situated 30km north of Da Nang city, and 70 km south from Hue city. Lang Co Beach has been recognized as one of the most beautiful bays in the world in 2009 by the World’s Most Beautiful Bays Club (World Bays). This makes Lang Co Beach like the perfect stop if you travel between these two cities.
- Hai Van Pass: is the highlight for the trip from Hue to Da Nang by car. This mountain pass connects Da Nang with Hue, via a stunning coastal road. It is well-known as Ocean Cloud Pass, the most scenic hillside roads in Vietnam where you can overlook the mountain, sky and ocean and can take fantastic photos at the peak of the pass when traveling from Hue to Danang by private car.
- My Khe Beach: It is close to Danang city, around 5km. It is one of the best beaches which is surrounded by coconut trees with a beautiful long sandy beach and always clean, fresh air with warm water during the year.
