- Tu Duc Tomb: is called Khiem Mausoleum. It took 3 years from 1864 -1867 to build this by the fourth Emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty, Tu Duc. This tomb is quite different from others. It has many constructions like: small island with some animals for hunting, relaxing pavilion, small theatre, his mum’s room and also has two more tombs inside: his adopted son (the seventh Emperor, Kien Phuc) and his wife. The tomb is divided into two areas: Temple and Tomb. This Emperor has some special things in his life: no children, longest time 36 years in the reign, stayed in his tomb 16 years before he died and no Emperor’s coffin inside this tomb. It’s more interesting when you visit it.
- Khai Dinh Tomb – the most lavish of all the Royal Tombs. The 12th Nguyen Emperor Khai Dinh was keen on details and this is highly shown through his tomb. It is undeniably small in terms of area but the exquisite blend of Western and Eastern architecture makes the Khai Dinh Tomb one of the most visited tombs amongst all in the country
- Lunch could be anywhere within Hue city. Hue city is not as big as Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh but there are certainly a lot of great places to try out the Hue royal cuisine. You may ask your driver for a legit local food and restaurant recommendation.

- Dong Ba market: the largest commercial center in Hue city, was reconstructed in 1899 under Thanh Thai’s reign. It is located on the Huong river bank to the South West of the Imperial City on Tran Hung Dao street – a main street of Hue city. If you want to go shopping or enjoy local food, this is the best place for multi items and food with reasonable prices.
